Smithsonian Air & Space Capital (day B/4 fencing went up) Bill loves oysters at Boatyard in Annapolis  Chapel at Naval academy  Boat yard’s famous diners Smithsonian Museum of Natural History  Stopped by to pick up some cash  We finished up our Washington trip on Wednesday 3/22. We headed home to WV on Thursday and took the scenic route(pretty but long and rainy) DC was pretty amazing and we really only saw a small piece of it! We became pros on the Metro🤣! Walked the Mall during the day, Smithsonian, cherry blossoms, the wharf area, and Annapolis Naval Academy were just a few things we saw! Once again Bill’s trip planning was perfect! Cherry Blossoms in perfect bloom!!!!

 Back on the road to Washington DC, staying in College Park- Cherry Hill Camping Park! We have been taking the bus to the Metro into DC(very interesting)🤪 First thing off the train, hit a sports bar-Penn Quarter SportsTavern, right on Pennsylvania Ave. We did a night tour, the first night and it was awesome (but freaking freezing-low 30’s)!!  We hiked the trail around the park, hitting the hot tub, and met up with our good friends, Julie and Armondo at Ben’s Chili Bowl(famous for a lot of famous people have eaten there)!!  Beautiful daffodils Cherry Blossoms at MLK Memorial  DC metro  Bar Korean War Memorial  Ben’s Chili Bowl history 

 Our road trip continued to Misty Mountain RV Resort, Greenwood, VA( just outside Charlottesville). It was close to The Greenbrier and Monticello. Sooo it was snowing on our way to the Greenbrier and got below freezing every night!  From Savannah we headed up to Charleston,SC. My nephew, Chuck Marano and his family live in Mount Pleasant. We had a great visit with them and did a harbor cruise and a carriage ride in Charleston. Wow, we learned so much history, our tour guides were awesome! Our campsite at the KOA was pretty good and close to all the activities! Food at waters edge on Schem creek was great!
