Summer trip- June 12 - June 28, 2024



 Hi all!  It’s been so busy on this trip, besides cell phone coverage issues, RV issues, really busy hiking, enjoying friends, I haven’t been able to keep up with my blog😳! So here’s a dump of pictures and videos! La Vita, CO was surprisingly wonderful, Woodland Park was as beautiful as when we lived in Colorado Springs, Lyons CO was gorgeous-  outside of Estes Park, we enjoyed friends and hikes. We headed over to Flatiron Resevoir then down to St Vrains State Park! I’ll have no cell coverage for the next 4 days! It’s really nice to disconnect😊

 It’s been a several months since we’ve been on the road! And ooooohhhh so happy to get out of the heat in Texas! We are going to spend the next 6 weeks in Colorado. We started up in Fort Worth watching the grandkids for a long weekend!! We had a blast-lots of baseball, swimming, games, school work, girls gymnastics final, and even a sleepover in the RV. The boys are on an all stars baseball team and they kept winning, so we kept changing our departure date🥰 They are champions! Betty is becoming quite the swimmer and a new puppy was added to their family!We left 6/12 and are in La Veta, CO. Already hiking and enjoying the cooler weather and my Happy place “the mountains “.

Day 1-9, 6/12/23 - 6/20/23

Hi everyone, sorry for the late post!! Google and wifi have been driving me crazy! Bill and I finally got back on the road! We got the hell out of Texas in the nick of time (before the 100's) I was really ready to hit the road! We met up with Sal & Jan at Palo Duro State Park. Pleasantly surprised, even with all the trails closed because of recent floods. We went to the Texas musical/BBQ, Fun, Fun, Fun! We had a few one night stops to Acuma,NM, Williams,AZ- the Grand Canyon Railroad RV Resort was right on the tracks, Lake Havasu- right on the lake, Joshua Tree National Park, and now at Newport Beach! it was great to see our old friends Randy and Gina! Love you guys!
