Day 42-44 - 9/4-9/5

 Happy Labor Day! O! O! O! Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs SPA! Our RV spot at this resort was Ehhh, but all the amenities were AWEsome! Our day trip to Santa Fe of course was excellent. The holiday weekend was crazy crowded. But music in the plaza, margaritas on La Fonda roof and lunch at Maria’s Mexican Kitchen - OMG it was so good! (Thanks Sal & Jan)We haven’t had Mexican food for 3 months! I thought I died and went to heaven! They offered a shot of tequila for dessert🤣🥰🤪! Our down day started with yoga in the Yurt ( me, not Bill), a lavender-brush, massage, wrap (me, not Bill), then soaking in all the hot springs, mud bath,  laying in the sun and steam room!  We are so ready to get back and hug those grand babies! Looking forward to babysitting those cuties for a couple days! Oh and the lady carrying the sign “Please whisper” Bill asked her if she was serving drinks?!😂

 Hi all!  It’s been so busy on this trip, besides cell phone coverage issues, RV issues, really busy hiking, enjoying friends, I haven’t been able to keep up with my blog😳! So here’s a dump of pictures and videos! La Vita, CO was surprisingly wonderful, Woodland Park was as beautiful as when we lived in Colorado Springs, Lyons CO was gorgeous-  outside of Estes Park, we enjoyed friends and hikes. We headed over to Flatiron Resevoir then down to St Vrains State Park! I’ll have no cell coverage for the next 4 days! Summer trip 2024- May30-June 11, 2024

 It’s been a several months since we’ve been on the road! And ooooohhhh so happy to get out of the heat in Texas! We are going to spend the next 6 weeks in Colorado. We started up in Fort Worth watching the grandkids for a long weekend!! We had a blast-lots of baseball, swimming, games, school work, girls gymnastics final, and even a sleepover in the RV. The boys are on an all stars baseball team and they kept winning, so we kept changing our departure date🥰 They are champions! Betty is becoming quite the swimmer and a new puppy was added to their family!We left 6/12 and are in La Veta, CO. Already hiking and enjoying the cooler weather and my Happy place “the mountains “.

Day 43-50

 Leaving Birmingham and heading to Navarre Beach, FL.  We are so ready for some beach time!  Santa Rosa RV Resort is right on the water(bay side).  Also had some great seafood at Peg Legged Pete’s, nature trail hike at Henderson State Park in Destin, Halloween-street fair, and a few beers at a downtown bar in Pensacola watching Michigan/Michigan State game!!! Beach time was at the National Gulf Seashore Park and Destin!
